Our Story
How we
got here
Kovazu is a boutique AI and technology agency run by two engineers with a shared obsession: building things that actually work. Not demos. Not prototypes that live in a slide deck. Products that ship, scale, and create real value for the people using them.
We started working together because we kept noticing the same pattern: great founders with compelling ideas, getting let down by agencies that did not understand their technology, or freelancers who could execute a brief but could not think three steps ahead. We built Kovazu to be the team we always wished existed. Small enough to be fast and direct, senior enough to bring genuine strategic thinking, and technical enough to build anything we design.
We work with companies across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. Fully remote and async-first. We hire on ability rather than geography and deliver on commitment rather than hours in a seat. Most of our work comes through referrals, which tells us we are doing something right.

Craft first
We care about the details no one else notices, because those details are exactly what clients remember, and what users feel even when they can't articulate why. Every border radius, every line of copy, every API response time is a design decision. We treat them all that way. The difference between good and great is always in the small things, and we refuse to let small things be small.
AI-native
We don't bolt AI on at the end of a project. It's the foundation we build from, which gives every product we ship an edge that competitors can't easily replicate. We know these models deeply. Not just their capabilities, but their failure modes, their costs, their latency profiles. That knowledge changes the products we design and the advice we give.
No fluff
No retainers for the sake of it. No vague deliverables with 18 line items that all mean roughly the same thing. No account managers who relay your questions to the person actually doing the work. You talk to the builders directly. Deliverables are specific and measurable. Timelines are honest. If something isn't right, we fix it. No billing arguments.
